DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of our Contract Administration Group, you will be responsible for office duties and field inspection assignments as necessary. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Providing office administration support;
Maintaining payment verification records;
Reviewing and understanding relevant OPSS and contract special provisions;
Performing all duties described in the Ministry’s Inspection and Task Manual regarding office administration;
Inspecting construction operations from time to time to ensure compliance with contract documents;
Interpreting requirements and details of contract drawings and specifications;
Verifying quantities, preparing progress reports and maintaining documentation; and
Liaising with contractors and staff.
Completion of a College diploma in Civil Engineering with OACETT designation as a rcji or rcsi;
Prior experience as an Office Person on at least 2 or more similar MTO or municipal projects with at least 1 having had a value of at least $8,000,000;
Excellent communication, problem solving and attention to detail skills;
Demonstrated willingness to learn;
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
Valid driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle with valid registration and insurance;
Ability to work flexible schedules and travel to site locations within the area;
Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance; and
