Position Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking General Labourer to join our Barrie operations.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist with handling, sorting, and processing materials, including chemical waste and products for destruction
- Operate power tools and equipment used in product destruction
- Support drivers on the road as required
- Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for daily operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all Health & Safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials
- Perform general labour duties such as lifting, moving, and organizing materials
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Forklift experience required
- Experience operating a Skid Steer is an asset
- TDG knowledge and/or WHMIS certification or awareness required
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
- Comfortable handling chemical waste and products for destruction
- Experience using power tools and industrial equipment
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs consistently
- Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods
