Join Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA) as a Records Management Summer Student and play a key role in modernizing how we manage, store, and access critical organizational information. Your work will directly support operational efficiency, data security, and long-term knowledge management across the organization.
About the Role
The Records Management Summer Student supports TOTA’s transition toward more efficient, secure, and standardized records and data management practices. This role is essential in helping build strong internal systems that enable teams to work more effectively and ensure important organizational knowledge is preserved and accessible.
What You’ll Do
- Provide support with Google Drive management, including document organization, file naming conventions, and maintaining appropriate security settings and permissions.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures for Records Management and Data Storage, incorporating the use of AI tools where appropriate.
- Support the digitization and archiving of existing physical records and documents, including project planning, execution, and documentation. Assist in implementing paperless processes for finance and other departments.
