Role Overview
We're looking for a Social Media Coordinator who is culturally aware, trend-savvy, and visually driven. This position blends creativity and organization — from planning and researching trends to supporting shoots, editing, and publishing content that resonates with audiences.
You'll work closely with our creative team, videographers, and brand partners to bring high-impact campaigns to life in our Toronto office and on set.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and schedule content across Instagram and TikTok
- Support photo and video shoots for client campaigns
- Assist with video editing and content production (short-form focus)
- Research and track viral trends, especially in K-culture and lifestyle
- Monitor competitor activity and analyze performance insights
- Engage with online communities — respond to comments and DMs
- Prepare monthly analytics and social media reports
- Collaborate on influencer campaigns and brand activations
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing (internship or freelance experience welcome)
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and current digital trends
- Video editing proficiency (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools)
- Basic understanding of photo/video production (camera, lighting, framing)
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Highly organized, proactive, and deadline-driven
- Active or aspiring content creator with a strong sense of visual storytelling
