Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team specializing in HVAC, roofing, windows, and doors. The Sales Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team, ensuring excellent customer service, and assisting in the smooth running of daily sales operations. You will engage with customers, provide product information, and help coordinate various tasks to drive sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team in managing leads, customer inquiries, and follow-ups.
- Provide detailed information on HVAC systems, roofing solutions, windows, and doors to potential customers.
- Prepare quotes, invoices, and sales reports.
- Help organize sales materials, brochures, and other promotional content.
- Schedule appointments for sales consultations and site visits.
- Coordinate with the installation and service departments to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Maintain accurate customer records and manage sales databases.
- Handle customer issues and escalate them to the appropriate team members when necessary.
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions to stay updated on products and industry trends.
- Provide administrative support, including answering phone calls and responding to emails.
- Assist in executing marketing strategies and initiatives to generate new leads.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Experience in customer service or sales, preferably in the HVAC, construction, or home improvement industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC, roofing, windows, and doors is a plus but not required.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related role (experience in the HVAC, construction, or home improvement industry is a plus).
