Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled & experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC machinery and a strong understanding of machining processes. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. The CNC Machinist will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure that production goals are met efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes or milling machines, to produce precision parts.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, and CAD files to understand specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure accuracy in machining.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery during the production process.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Be able to work under minimum supervision.
Skills
- Proficient in CNC operation (programming is a plus).
- Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques.
- Experience with drawing interpretation.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (calipers).
- Ability to operate a forklift safely (certification preferred).
- Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
