The best companies are made of the best people. Hiring a great team and building a culture that supports excellence is one of the most important things a startup can do. We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Technical Recruiter to help accelerate our hiring of the top technical talent.
The ideal candidate for this role excels in understanding the niche requirements for our technical positions. While this individual will be responsible for our end-to-end recruiting and hiring process, we are looking for a candidate with particular strength in sourcing passive, top candidates into our interview pipeline. This role requires a scrappy and creative recruiter who thinks strategically and operationally - identifying areas where we can improve our recruiting process while partnering with our recruiting coordinator and hiring partners to move candidates from sourcing through hiring.
This position can be based in Vancouver, British Columbia or remotely anywhere in Canada.
What You'll Do:
Work closely with team leads to understand their hiring needs and source candidates that match those requirements
Strategically plan, source, and own a pipeline of exceptionally qualified candidates and shepherd them through our hiring process
Continually source passive candidates for tough-to-fill positions and niche roles
Build and nurture relationships with top talent across our industry for current and future needs
Stay current with tech and autonomous vehicle industry trends to identify potential recruiting opportunities
Help build our recruiting function, establishing the right recruiting processes, trainings, and tool stack to improve the quality of our funnel and velocity of hires
Help shape and articulate our talent brand to build a compelling pitch for candidates
What You Bring:
Senior level of experience as a full-cycle technical recruiter
Ability to make diversity, equity, and inclusion a central priority in recruiting processes
Proven track record of sourcing, recruiting and closing technical talent
Ability to understand and relate to the startup and engineering approach
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Attention to detail, organization skills, reliable and consistent communication habits
Ability to multitask and adapt to fast-paced, collaborative work environment
Analytical/data oriented approach to handling your recruiting funnel and working with your hiring partners
What Helps You Stand Out:
Experience recruiting within the gaming, autonomous vehicle/robotics, AI/ML, and/or computer graphics industry
Experience at a growing startup
Experience with Lever
Strong network of potential hires
Fluency with reporting tools
