Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender/ Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a solid understanding of food and beverage operations, and experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments. Candidates should be well-versed in POS systems, food safety standards, have their smart serve, and cash handling procedures, ensuring smooth service from order to payment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and billing
- Manage cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Ensure responsible serving of alcohol by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in inventory management
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling and serving processes
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a bartender
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest interactions gracefully
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and managing tabs
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure
- Hospitality background or restaurant experience is advantageous
- Must be at least 18 years old (if serving alcohol) and possess relevant certifications if required by local regulations
