Alliance Seafood Inc. – Direct Store Distribution Division Location: Shediac, NB
Alliance Seafood Inc. is seeking a reliable and safety focused Part-Time Delivery Driver to support our direct store distribution operations across New Brunswick. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, customer interaction, and hands-on work. Additional hours on our production line are available for candidates seeking more than the scheduled driving hours.
Hours
- 15–20 hours of driving per week
- Additional production line hours available depending on workload and candidate interest
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a company vehicle safely, courteously, and responsibly at all times
- Load the delivery truck at the processing facility and verify truck condition, manifests, and delivery paperwork
- Lift and handle boxes and seafood products (up to 50 lbs regularly)
- Deliver orders to customers, confirm accuracy, unload product, and obtain customer signatures
- Collect COD payments when required
- Make accurate notations on manifests and ensure proper documentation
- Handle products carefully to prevent shortages, damages, or temperature issues
- Follow all company policies, food safety standards, and operational procedures
- Complete driver logs and comply with DOT requirements when applicable
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including optional production line work
Qualifications
- Being bilingual (French and English) is considered an asset.
- Excellent driving record (clean abstract required)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Experience in delivery, warehouse, or food production is an asset but not required
- Valid NB class 5 driving liscense
