We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Lead to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate sales associates to achieve individual and team sales goals
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Oversee merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory management to maximize sales potential
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Conduct recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new staff members
- Handle payroll processing, cash handling, and bookkeeping responsibilities accurately
- Supervise staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Implement marketing initiatives to promote products and increase store traffic
- Monitor sales data and prepare reports to analyze performance trends
- Enforce store policies and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Assist in budgeting and managing store expenses to meet financial objectives
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales management with supervising or leadership roles
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective customer engagement
- Proficiency with POS systems, cashiering, and merchandising tools
- Knowledge of purchasing, pricing strategies, and store management practices
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, and team management
- Ability to handle administrative tasks such as payroll, bookkeeping, and budgeting accurately
- Excellent organizational skills with effective time management capabilities
- Customer service-oriented mindset with professional phone etiquette
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative environment
- Marketing knowledge to support promotional campaigns and increase brand awareness
- Competence in using organizational software for reporting and communication purposes
