Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a highly analytical and customer-focused Project Logistics Pricing Specialist to support our Project Logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive pricing solutions, evaluating transportation options across multiple modes, and ensuring profitability while meeting customer requirements. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and play a key role in delivering innovative logistics solutions for complex project cargo movements.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations within established timelines and company standards.
- Utilize approved pricing tools, carrier portals, and market resources to source transportation costs and service options.
- Analyze customer requirements and develop cost-effective logistics solutions that maximize profitability while meeting client expectations.
- Communicate detailed scopes of work to carriers, vendors, and service providers to obtain accurate pricing and service offerings.
- Ensure all supplier costs, service charges, and minimum margin requirements are applied correctly to every quotation.
- Maintain accurate quote records, update pricing registers, and provide timely follow-up with customers regarding submitted proposals.
- Support procurement and sourcing initiatives while achieving individual performance metrics and continuous improvement goals.

- Diploma or post-secondary education in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience within the freight forwarding, project logistics, or transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of air, ocean, and overland transportation operations and pricing methodologies.
- Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail and a high level of financial and commercial acumen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused, solution-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Base wage is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and dental benefits, a retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data.
