Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, preparing survey reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of surveying techniques and the ability to effectively utilize various tools and technologies to gather and analyze data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform topographic, boundary, layout, and as-built surveys for active construction sites.
- Set control points and layout for roads, utilities, concrete works, and other site features.
- Operate survey instruments including total stations, GPS/GNSS, and data collectors.
- Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and engineers to ensure accuracy of field data.
- Prepare field notes, sketches, and survey reports.
- Upload/download data and generate survey files using AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
- Ensure all survey work is performed to meet project specifications and regulatory standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in data management techniques to handle large datasets efficiently.
- Experience with GIS software, particularly ArcGIS, for mapping and spatial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and CAD applications for drafting survey plans.
- Ability to perform accurate data collection using various surveying instruments.
- Familiarity with database management systems for organizing survey information.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret survey results and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
