Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is seeking a Financial Analyst III to join their team. As a Financial Analyst III, you will be part of the Financial Department supporting the company's financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions. What's the Job?
- Collaborate in month-end activities, prepare journal entries, reconcile, analyze, explain variances, and create financial reports related to capital management, long-term debt, dividends, salaries, and pensions.
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly and annual financial statements with accompanying commentary.
- Revise end-of-month entries, identify and analyze major variances, and support the preparation and analysis of financial statements.
- Provide data, reports, and ad hoc analysis to ensure accuracy and support decision-making processes.
- Assist in audits, regulatory responses, and document preparation, including writing accounting policy decisions based on USGAAP.
What's Needed?
- Professional accounting designation with 7+ years of relevant work experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within tight deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion is an asset.
