```Duties```
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout and configuration of electrical systems
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components such as switches, outlets, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures
- Test electrical systems using specialized tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to coordinate electrical work with other construction or renovation activities
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents or injuries on the job site
```Skills```
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician certification or equivalent experience in the field
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
- Experience with industrial electrical systems, including motor controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Familiarity with a wide range of hand tools and power tools used in the electrical trade
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects within specified timelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in all tasks performed
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
