We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Math Teachers who enjoy working with children and are passionate about helping students build confidence and strong math skills.
About the Role
As a Math Teacher, you will work with students ages 5–12 in a fun, supportive, and engaging learning environment. You will help students strengthen their math foundation, develop problem-solving abilities, and foster a love of learning through positive encouragement and meaningful challenges.
Requirements
- Positive, energetic, and responsible personality
- Strong math skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient and able to work well with young children and parents
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Teaching or tutoring experience
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education or Ontario Certified Teacher certification preferred
- Experience in math contests or competition mathematics programs is an asset
- Ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus
Responsibilities
- Teach math lessons to students ages 5–12
- Create a positive and interactive classroom environment
- Foster learning through engaging lessons and guided problem-solving activities
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
