We are seeking passionate and dedicated Swim Instructors to join our team for our upcoming swim program running from 8th September to 20th December. We are specifically looking for instructors who are available to teach on Saturdays and Sundays.
The ideal candidate has a strong swimming background and is committed to teaching individuals of all ages essential swimming skills and water safety. In this role, you will create a positive, supportive learning environment where participants can build confidence, improve their swimming abilities, and develop lifelong water safety skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver swim lessons for individuals and groups of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
- Teach water safety principles and proper swimming techniques.
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support skill development.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in and around the pool.
- Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress, goals, and any areas for improvement.
- Follow all safety procedures and organizational policies during lessons.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions to maintain and enhance teaching techniques and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Swim Instructor or in a similar teaching role is preferred.
- Valid National Lifeguard Certification.
- Current Standard First Aid certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to teach individuals of all ages and abilities.
- Patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about helping others learn to swim safely.
- Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service.
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays between 8th September and 20th December.
