We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Supervisor to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a classroom while ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's development.
- Ensure compliance with BC Child Care Licensing Regulations and centre policies.
- Mentor and support fellow educators while promoting teamwork and professionalism.
- Observe, document, and communicate children's developmental progress with families.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Assist with the daily operations of the centre and support management as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid BC Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate (required)
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Clear Criminal Record Check
- Previous experience working in a licensed childcare setting
- Supervisory or leadership experience is considered an asset
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Positive, dependable, and professional attitude
- Passion for providing exceptional care and education to young children
