Summary of Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions will be discussed in the interview with the Kitchen Supervisor. Please indicate your position preference and availability on your resume. Open positions include:

Chef Positions (Red Seal/Journeyman's Papers and previous experience in the kitchen is required):

  • Junior Sous Chef
  • Chef de Partie
  • Demi Chef de Partie

Cook Positions:

  • First Cook (also includes Pastry/Bakeshop)
  • Second Cook (also includes Pastry/Bakeshop)

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

  • Constant lifting, carrying, pulling up to 50lbs.
  • Standing and walking throughout shift

Work Environment: Exposure to kitchen equipment includes large and small ovens, stoves, steam kettles, mixers, sheeter, fryers, rational ovens, steamers, tilt skillets, fridges and freezers as well as blast freezers

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
