Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, mechanical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are top priorities. Previous dealership or mechanic experience is highly valued, and candidates should be comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting. The Tire Technician plays a vital role in maintaining vehicle safety and performance through tire installation, repair, and maintenance.
Duties
- Install, repair, and replace tires using hand tools and power tools with precision and care
- Perform wheel alignments and balancing to ensure proper vehicle handling
- Conduct routine maintenance related to tires and wheels, including inspections for damage or wear
- Assist customers by providing expert advice on tire selection, maintenance, and safety considerations
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot tire-related issues efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety standards are met
- Operate heavy machinery safely during tire mounting and dismounting processes
- Promote additional automotive services such as brake checks or fluid top-offs when appropriate
- Keep detailed records of services performed for each vehicle
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or mechanic experience preferred but not required; relevant automotive repair background is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive systems and tire technology
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of automotive safety standards and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not mandatory; must be able to operate company vehicles if required

Pay: $36,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
