Job Overview:
Shaghf Cafe شغف is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Café Crew Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with beverage preparation, food service, cashier duties, and maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment while delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Prepare coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and other café drinks.
- Keep the café, beverage station, and dining area clean and organized.
- Restock ingredients, packaging, and café supplies throughout the shift.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Duties:
- Open and close the café following company procedures.
- Set up beverage stations, display cases, and service counters before opening.
- Clean coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and food preparation equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items to management.
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.
- Ensure customer seating areas remain clean, stocked, and inviting.
- Support promotional events and seasonal menu launches.
- Perform additional café duties assigned by the Café Manager.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced café environment.
- Positive attitude with a strong team-oriented mindset.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and food handling is an asset.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, restaurant, or customer service role is preferred but not required.
