Overview
Townsite Brewing is on a mission of creating authentically augmented experiences for our community, and we take pride in our beer. As the Brewer, you will be responsible for all aspects of the beer production process as well as the day-to-day operations at Townsite. Duties will include raw materials acquisition and handling, brewing, cellaring, packaging,maintenance and cleaning. The Brewer will embody Townsite’s values of Inclusivity, High Quality, Transparency and Safety to maintain a people-centered culture, while delivering results in execution and goal achievement.
We are currently seeking a detail oriented brewer interested in working with our Belgian brewing engineer
Duties
All aspects of Beer production while maintaining high-level maintenance and operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift drivers license an asset
- BS or BA in Operations, Engineering or Chemistry is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage a production line
- Knowledge of WorkSafe BC and safety standards
- Good understanding of quality assurance / quality control and problem solving skills and to troubleshoot any production related issues
