Material Handlers (Warehouse)
(Full Time Hours Guaranteed)
At E.G. Penner Building Centres Ltd., a COR Certified supplier, we strive to be the premier building, home improvement and design centre in Southeastern Manitoba.
We are currently looking for Material Handlers to join our Warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensuring the accurate and seamless reception and processing of incoming shipments;
· Loading and unloading shipments,
· Assisting customers and picking products for their orders in a timely efficient manner.
· Using any necessary equipment, such as motorized lift equipment, in a safe manner, and abiding by safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Previous warehouse experience is preferred,
· A valid Class 5 driver’s license
· Knowledge of lumber and building materials is a definite asset,
· Physically fit with the ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively,
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
· Attention to detail, strong time management and organizational skills,
· Provide professional and courteous assistance to customers and work well in a team environment.
· Have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with customers and co-workers in a professional manner.
