Job Summary
We are an aluminum window manufacturer currently looking for a motivated Fabricator/Helper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for key production tasks including cutting materials, fabricating window units, and packing finished products for shipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, and the ability to read blueprints. Key Qualifications & Duties:
- Fabrication: Perform precise cutting and assembly of aluminum window frames.
- Measurement: Ability to accurately read a tape measure is considered a significant asset for this position.
- Logistics: Assist with the careful packing and preparation of products to ensure safe delivery.
- General Support: Provide manual assistance across the manufacturing floor as needed.
Experience
- Prior experience with manufacturing or fabrication is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific machinery and processes.
- Familiarity with CNC laser cutting, CNC programming, plasma cutting, press brake machines, CNC lathe/milling machines is a plus.
- Experience operating cranes and forklifts is desirable; certification is a bonus but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of welding techniques and mechanical systems is advantageous.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers.
- Knowledge of quality inspection procedures within a manufacturing setting is beneficial.
