We are seeking an experienced and reliable Main Grill Cook to join our team for the busy summer season. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and is comfortable handling high-volume food production during peak service periods.
The Main Grill Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and supporting overall kitchen operations. Duties include food preparation, grilling, dishwashing, cleaning, stocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.
THE JOB
- Prepare ingredients and kitchen stations before service
- Cook and assemble menu items according to quality standards
- Manage high-volume grill production during busy meal periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen
- Wash dishes and kitchen equipment as required
- Restock ingredients and supplies
- Assist with inventory management and receiving deliveries
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced line cook or grill cook position
- Experience working with high-volume food service operations
- Ability to multitask and remain organized under pressure
- Strong attention to food quality and consistency
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Availability during major summer events and peak business periods
