Position Summary
The Service Technician must thrive in a fast-paced environment with high deliverables and develop excellent working relationships with the team and our clients. This role reports to senior management.

The hours are Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Can work evenings and weekends, if required.
Job requirements
A successful Senior Technician is someone who:
-
Minimum three years experience in CCTV, Access Control, Alarm Systems
-
Proficient with programming for Security, Access Control, Video Systems & Integration.

Enjoys hands-on work and is prepared for labor-intensive tasks

Exhibits good organizational and time-management skills
-
Strong troubleshooting skills - the ability to quickly and efficiently narrow down issues.

Superior customer service and communication skills
-
Prepare field reports, as required
-
Working at Heights certification is preferred.
Responsibilities and Duties

Pull cable and conduit, run wires & mount various system devices (Alarm Systems, CCTV; IP & Analog, Access Control)

Work independently and collaboratively with other team members (depending on the task) to achieve common project/site objectives.

Install and troubleshoot CCTV – includes fixed/PTZ cameras, DVR, NVR, Hybrid, Servers, and video matrix systems.

Specific knowledge of the following types of systems would be beneficial: DSC, Protégé, Condoplex, Keyscan panels, Kantech, Aiphone, Mircom, MESH, Liner intercoms and entry systems, Network components – jacks, patch panels, switches, routers, hubs, etc
