We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to provide safe, efficient, and courteous transportation services to our customers. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to various destinations within the city or designated areas
- Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs, adhering to scheduled appointments and customer requests
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage, and addressing inquiries politely
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safety and comfort
- Collect fares accurately using cash handling procedures or electronic payment systems
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
- Keep records of trips, fares, and mileage as required for company reports or audits
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license preferred but not required
- Proven experience in driving, preferably in a commercial or taxi environment
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to ensure punctuality and efficient route planning
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of local streets, routes, and traffic patterns
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if necessary
- Must pass background checks and any required drug screening prior to employment
