Job Summary
As the Administrative Assistant reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible to manage the day to day administrative needs of the Distribution Centre as well as the key components of the Business unit. Professionalism, time management, and organization skills are key attributes for this role.

Specific Responsibilities
Financial components using SAP (budget management, PO management, invoicing, vendor payment follow up)
Assist with compiling and monitoring payroll - Kronos time and attendance system
Coordinate and facilitate Warehouse recruitment, orientation and onboarding for new employees
Coordinate and support corporate and local Employee engagement and Community initiatives
Manage the agenda of the management team, schedule appointments, meetings and business reviews
Coordinate all travel logistics (hotels, car rentals, airline tickets)
Assist in yearly performance review process
Data entry and upkeep of the organization’s database, ensuring a high level of accuracy
Assist all out of town team members when they are visiting Trenton
Assist with tracking employee vacation and time off requests
Administration of employee recognition programs
Ordering supplies/ manage supply inventory
Collect data for inclusion in various reports and distribute as indicated also to the select, interpret and produce various monthly and quarterly reports for management team – this will need to be done in a timely manner with responsibility and accountability for the quality of output
Support Operations team as required (participation in local on-site committees as delegated by DC Manager; administrative requirements for employee training)
Additional duties to support Operations Supervisors as delegated by Director of Operations
Position Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of administrative experience
Certificate or diploma in Administration is an asset
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SAP platform
Experience with payroll and/or time recording software is an asset (Kronos experience preferred)
Flexible and able to meet deadlines in a dynamic, high demand environment
Superior analytical and communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong time management skills
Ability to function independently using professional confidentiality
