Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hard-working labourer to join our team. This role will primarily involve landscaping work alongside a crew partner, including yard maintenance, cleanup, material moving, and outdoor construction tasks.
When landscaping work is slower, this position will also assist with general labour activities on construction job sites.
The ideal candidate is dependable, physically fit, willing to learn, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with landscaping and yard maintenance projects
- Perform mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and general cleanup
- Move materials, tools, soil, gravel, and debris safely and efficiently
- Assist with grading, excavation prep, and outdoor construction tasks
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Support construction crews with general labour tasks when required
- Follow safety procedures and work efficiently with team members
Requirements
- Previous landscaping or labour experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well independently and with a partner
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance will be considered an asset
- Previous experience working with landscaping or construction materials is beneficial but not required; a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
