Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a well established provider of commercial laundry equipment services supporting multi residential, hospitality, municipal, and institutional facilities throughout British Columbia.
This opportunity is ideal for a mechanically inclined Service Technician who enjoys diagnosing problems, working independently, and taking ownership of their service route. What You'll Be Doing
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial laundry equipment at customer sites throughout Kelowna and the surrounding area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and repairing commercial washers, dryers, and related equipment
- Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and basic plumbing issues
- Reading schematics and technical documentation to support accurate repairs
- Managing service calls efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Maintaining parts inventory and ensuring service vehicle stock is organized and accurate
- Using mobile technology to document service work, manage schedules, and complete service reports
- Identifying recurring equipment issues and recommending corrective actions
- Representing the company professionally while building positive relationships with customers
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience servicing, repairing, troubleshooting, or maintaining mechanical equipment
- Class B Gas Fitter certification or Gas Appliance Service Technician certification in good standing with Technical Safety BC
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose equipment failures independently
- Comfortable using tablets, mobile devices, and digital service management systems
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical documentation
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move equipment components up to 75 lbs as required
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
