Duties
- Transport goods and materials over short or long distances
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues before each trip
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods)
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
Experience
- Required: Commercial driving experience
- Nice-to-have skills: Knowledge of freight handling, forklift operation, automotive repair, and heavy equipment operation
