Jewish Community Campus of Ottawa Inc is seeking a permanent full-time position - daytime and evening time (Sun 8am-4:30pm and Mon-Thu 3pm-11:30pm). You will be part of our Campus In-House Custodial team. We are looking for self-motivated, hard workers who are able to carry out physically demanding work.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
1. Performing all cleaning work required to keep building clean, such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, carpet extraction, waxing, waste management, etc.
2. Set up rooms for meetings and social gatherings.
3. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Commercial cleaning experience preferred (1 year experience).
2. Must be able to speak English.
3. Must be reasonably physically fit to be able to handle the physical demands of the job.
4. Must provide a clear Police Criminal Background check.
5. Must provide proof of current Health Canada approved COVID-19 immunization, subject to reasonable accommodation measures protected grounds under the Human Rights Code.
