Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook / Wok Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with a focus on wok-based cuisine, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards set by the restaurant.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Skilled in meal preparation techniques, especially wok cooking and Asian cuisine.
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on presentation and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance is a plus.
- Passion for culinary arts with a desire to learn new skills and techniques related to food industry standards.
