Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, mechanical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills. Duties
- Mounting, balancing, and installing tires on various vehicle makes and models
- Inspecting tires for damage, wear, and proper inflation levels
- Performing wheel alignments and rotations as needed
- Using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment to complete tasks efficiently
- Assisting customers with tire selection, sales, and related automotive services
- Conducting safety checks on vehicles before and after service
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure safety compliance
- Providing exceptional customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions
Requirements
- Previous dealership or automotive mechanic experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and tire technology
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to lift heavy tires or equipment safely (heavy lifting required)
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic sales skills to assist customers in choosing the right products and services
- Valid driver’s license preferred for test drives or vehicle movement tasks
