Staff Plus is seeking a Licensed Counter-Balance Forklift Operator to support our client in manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move stock around the facility, clamp boxes of recycled material and dump into a bin, among other duties as assigned.
Hours: Must be flexible to work Any Shift, 8 to 12 hours per shift, Monday to Sunday
What You'll Do:
- Print and prepare bills of lading and perform accurate data entry.
- Move and handle large paper rolls (approximately 5 ft wide and 9 ft high).
- Perform general manual labour tasks as required.
- Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse and recycle materials into bins using a rotator clamp.
- Conduct routine pre- and post-operation inspections of forklift equipment.
- Load and unload products from trailers or containers.
- Stack and store merchandise in designated areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Licensed Forklift operator, with experience on a Rotator Clamp is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving Electric Counter-Balance forklift.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate equipment safely.
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution systems and warehouse management systems.
- Mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
- Must have a clear criminal background history.
