Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals who take pride in their work. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of assigned areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
- Change linens, replenish supplies, and dispose of trash properly
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning equipment responsibly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure high-quality service delivery
Skills
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and efficiency
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
