Job Description:
Gorilla Repairs is looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman/Handywoman to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of general repairs and maintenance tasks in client homes, including painting, furniture assembly, light plumbing, fixture installation, TV/artwork mounting, and basic electrical work.
You will respond promptly to service requests, troubleshoot and diagnose household issues, and provide practical solutions while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, communicates effectively with clients, and takes pride in delivering trustworthy, first-time-right workmanship. Maintaining tools and equipment, assisting team members with larger projects, and supporting the company’s reputation for exceptional service are essential aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs and maintenance, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and fixture installation.
- Respond promptly to client service requests and ensure work is completed efficiently and safely.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and provide solutions for household issues.
- Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and materials.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, explaining work performed.
- Assist team members on larger projects or complex repairs.
- Uphold Gorilla Repairs’ standards for quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong practical skills in general home repairs and installations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented.
- Must be able to drive around the areas of assignments.
