Eyes on Stonehaven Optometry is a busy, progressive optometry practice and optical boutique looking for an experienced Optical & Patient Care Coordinator to join our team.. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth operations, accurate patient documentation, and a welcoming environment that fosters trust and satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify appointments, and assist with check-in procedures to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Educate patients on optical products, lens options, and frame selections to promote informed decisions and enhance satisfaction
- Assist in the fitting, adjustment, and dispensing of eyewear, providing exceptional customer service throughout the process
- Coordinate laboratory activities including lens edging and mounting and repairs
- Support retail sales efforts by promoting optical products and accessories, achieving sales targets while prioritizing patient needs
- Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth clinical operations and patient flow
Experience
- Prior experience in optical settings or retail sales environments is required, demonstrating strong customer service skills and knowledge in Myopia Control treatments
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to eye care enhances communication with patients and healthcare providers
- Laboratory experience related to lens fabrication or optical device adjustments is a plus for technical proficiency
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems improves efficiency in managing patient data
- Background in retail management or sales demonstrates the ability to drive product promotion and meet performance goals
- Strong organizational skills combined with a proactive attitude are essential for managing multiple responsibilities effectively

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
