Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, and will be energetic, mature and ambitious.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product information to customers
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems to complete transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor at all times
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Handle customer inquiries over the phone or in person
- Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures
- Build and maintain relationships with customers
- Help to manage physical inventory – this includes entering new stock, and managing stock on display.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
- Demonstrated ability to sell products effectively
- Familiarity with clothing sales is advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Track record of exceeding expectations
- Ability to collaborate with a team
- Basic computer skills
- A willingness to learn and uphold brand image and integrity
- An adaptable mindset and positive attitude
