Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Junior Operations Manager to take ownership of our ERP system and support daily inventory and operational processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with systems, data accuracy, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination. The successful candidate will become the company's primary ERP administrator while helping ensure inventory accuracy, efficient material flow, and continuous operational improvement.

Responsibilities:
ERP System Ownership (Primary Focus)
- Maintain accurate item master data within the ERP system.
- Create, update, and maintain product routers.
- Maintain and update product costing information.
- Serve as the first point of contact for ERP-related questions and troubleshooting.
- Identify and resolve ERP data issues to ensure system accuracy.
- Train employees on ERP procedures and best practices.
- Develop and maintain ERP process documentation.
- Drive adoption of ERP standards and data accuracy across departments.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory quantities and storage locations.
- Receive inventory transactions accurately within the ERP system.
- Ensure all inventory is properly tagged, identified, stored, and recorded.
- Monitor inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes.
- Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory variances.
- Plan and support annual physical inventory counts.
- Maintain inventory accuracy targets established by management.
- Proactively identify material shortages before they impact production or customers.
- Monitor slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
- Collaborate with purchasing and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve ERP utilization and workflows.
- Recommend and implement improvements to inventory control processes.
- Reduce inventory and transaction errors through improved procedures.
- Develop and maintain standardized operating procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
Must Haves:
- Experience in Operations, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing.
- Experience in using ERP systems
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to learn new software systems quickly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Preferred
- Engineering or business degree
- Inventory control, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics experience.
- Experience conducting cycle counts or inventory audits.
- Continuous improvement or Lean manufacturing exposure.
Success in This Role
Within the first 6-12 months, the successful candidate will:
- Become the primary day-to-day owner of the ERP system.
- Develop a strong understanding of item routers.
- Improve ERP data accuracy and inventory accuracy metrics.
- Lead cycle counting activities and inventory reconciliation efforts.
- Establish standardized procedures for ERP transactions and inventory control.
- Become a trusted resource for ERP training and operational support.

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
