Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, construction, and related technical skills. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The licensed plumber will ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes, contributing to the efficient operation of our projects.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute plumbing projects accurately
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete installations and repairs
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support project requirements
- Assist with construction tasks such as carpentry and assembly related to plumbing installations
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects.
- Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Operate commercial vehicles for transporting materials or equipment when required
- Ability to perform plumbing work on mid rise buildings.
Requirements
- Valid license as a professional plumber with relevant state certification
- Valid Drivers license.
- Mechanical knowledge across plumbing, carpentry, welding, and construction disciplines is highly desirable
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material quantities
- Heavy lifting capability for transporting materials and equipment safely
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in construction and plumbing environments
- Basic knowledge of assembly processes related to plumbing fixtures or systems
- Prior experience in commercial plumbing projects is preferred
