Position Summary
As a Painter at Pro Co Painting, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, protecting client property, applying coatings to company standards, maintaining a clean and safe worksite, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Successful candidates are dependable, self-motivated, and capable of producing high-quality work with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities
Surface Preparation
- Washing and cleaning surfaces
- Scraping loose paint and coatings
- Sanding and surface profiling
- Caulking and sealing gaps
- Filling holes, cracks, and imperfections
- Priming surfaces as required
- Protecting surrounding surfaces with masking and coverings
Painting & Finishing
- Brush and roll application
- Spray application and back-rolling
- Interior and exterior painting
- Staining and finishing wood surfaces
- Applying specialty coatings when required
- Maintaining clean lines and consistent finishes
- Completing work according to project specifications and company standards
Job Site Management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
- Protect client property, furnishings, landscaping, and belongings
- Properly care for company equipment, tools, and materials
- Report material shortages, equipment issues, and job site concerns
- Follow daily work schedules and production goals
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Customer Service
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Represent Pro Co Painting in a courteous and respectful manner
- Address client questions professionally and refer concerns to management when appropriate
- Maintain a positive and professional appearance on every job site

Qualifications
Required
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle for transportation to job sites
- Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check and Security Clearance
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday
- Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work platforms
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Preferred (but not necessary)
- Residential and commercial painting experience
- Spray application experience
- Knowledge of preparation and finishing techniques
- Familiarity with common painting tools, equipment, and coatings
- Experience working in occupied residential homes
Compensation & Benefits
- $18.00–$30.00 per hour based on experience, skill level, and performance
