Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive automotive repairs, including engine diagnostics, brake service, suspension work, and electrical systems
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs accurately and efficiently
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues and execute repairs
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Assist with vehicle assembly and component replacement as needed
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly to clients
Qualifications
- Valid automotive technician license or certification required
- Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory; relevant mechanic experience is essential
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for effective customer interactions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Pay: $20.00-$50.00 per hour
