Position Summary
Combine your love of travel, writing, operations, and customer service. Your knowledge of tour operations will help you succeed in this role while supporting the operations team at Out Adventures. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including collecting client personal and travel information, offering additional services to clients, data entry, creating client-facing travel documentation, and other administrative tasks.
You’ll provide exceptional client service through detail-oriented communication. Ultimately, you’re a passionate traveler, high performer, and team player. You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, work well independently, and operate confidently under pressure.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1 year of experience working within an operations department, preferably in travel
- Excellent spoken and written English skills that can be adapted to various writing styles
- Extensive geographical knowledge and first-hand travel experience
- Customer-first mindset
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Passion for LGBTQ+ travel
- Proven understanding of problem solving
- Intermediate to advanced understanding of Microsoft Office, Google Docs/Sheets, and AI tools-
- Flexible, responsible, and reliable, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Collect client information and travel details by phone/email
- Offer and book additional client services such as hotels, transfers, etc, as per their requirements
- Enter client personal and travel information into reservations system
- Compile, pack, and mail client swag packages
- Assist with pre-tour document creation, both in pdf and app format
- Develop a strong knowledge of Out Adventures scheduled group products
- Willingness to work outside of standard business hours for occasional client calls, trade shows, consumer events and busy periods
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
