Baptiste Inc. is a privately held US-based real estate investment and property management firm making strides in the Ontario market, with an emerging residential and commercial portfolio across the GTA. We are seeking a Director of Property Management to lead the operational, financial, and people management functions across our managed portfolio.
The Role
Reporting to senior ownership, the Director of Property Management will provide strategic and operational leadership across a multi-site residential and mixed-use portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role for a seasoned property management executive who can run a portfolio independently, develop a team, and hold themselves accountable to performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations across all managed properties
- Lead, mentor, and develop property management staff including on-site managers and coordinators
- Build and manage annual operating budgets, financial forecasting, and variance reporting
- Drive occupancy, NOI, and resident satisfaction across the portfolio
- Ensure compliance with the Ontario Residential Tenancies Act and all applicable legislation
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships, service contracts, and capital projects
- Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners and key stakeholders
- Implement and continuously improve operational systems, processes, and technology
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive property management experience, including multi-site leadership
- Demonstrated experience presenting financial results directly to ownership
- Strong knowledge of Ontario residential and commercial tenancy legislation
- Proficiency in Yardi or comparable property management software
- CPM designation or equivalent considered a strong asset
- Valid driver's licence and vehicle for site visits
