About You

One Planet is looking for a Creative Director who can conceive and implement visuals that range from print media to all forms of digital media. The Creative Director will be responsible for developing engaging collateral that tells a story and elicits an emotional response for all the One Planet businesses. You must have an almost instinctive grasp of what will work when branding a product or developing a marketing plan and understand what creative concept will play well in the market.

The successful candidate will work closely with all aspects of the company from design through to marketing to deliver content that exceeds the expectations. As a Creative Director at One Planet, you will be responsible for leading and directing across graphic and website design, copy, video, animation, infographic, social media material, photography and promotional assets.

Other requirements:
Ensure consistency in design across all the online and offline channels
Lead all creative design and copywriting
Adhere to brand guidelines set out by One Planet and update as needed
Manage the content teams responsible for content creation across One Planet's businesses
Train and give feedback to the company's design team
Collaborate with company leaders
A deep understanding of design, copy and web best practices/guidelines
Experience across software, especially the Adobe Creative suite.
Great leadership and presentation skills.
Execellent communication skills
A strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts
Comfort interacting with exec team and wider global internal staff
Strong persuasive skills
Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or design required (Master's degree preferred)
  • 5+ years' experience in a creative leadership role
  • Proven success in managing creative teams
  • Portfolio of previous work that displays an ability to turn an idea into a visual piece
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the marketing design process
