This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about animal care, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to gain experience in the veterinary field. We are ideally looking for someone to start in August or September 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Care for hospitalized patients, including feeding, watering and taking them outside.
- Assist with patient restraint for examinations, treatment, and surgical procedures
- Clean and sanitize kennels, exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment
- Assist with laundry, dishes, and general clinic upkeep
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, clients, and staff
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in Canada
- Compassion and empathy toward animals and their owners
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and cleaning
- Evening and weekend availability is required
- Previous animal care experience is an asset

Compensation: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
