We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join Doves Touch Wellness The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service while delivering therapeutic massage treatments tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting relaxation, alleviating pain, and enhancing overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Perform various types of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massages.
- Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss their needs to create personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including medical history and treatment outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their comfort levels and any areas of concern during the massage.
- Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the treatment area and equipment used.
- Stay informed about new massage techniques and trends in the industry to enhance service offerings.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a welcoming environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- Valid state license or certification in massage therapy.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Previous experience in a spa or wellness environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and training in massage techniques.
