Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly to ensure timely service
- Support kitchen staff with basic cooking, cleaning, and food safety procedures
- Handle food and beverage service, including serving guests and managing food presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling protocols
- Support guest services by addressing customer inquiries courteously and efficiently
- Assist with setup and breakdown of dining areas for events or daily service
- Perform general cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards in all areas
- Help with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and serving techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong communication skills for effective guest interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with cleaning routines in commercial kitchens or dining areas
- Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
