Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Customer Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, preparing and serving high-quality beverages, handling transactions, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks following company standards.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders efficiently, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at the end of shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces.
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling food items or snacks.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively through strong time management skills in a busy environment.
- Ensure adherence to health regulations and safety guidelines at all times.
Skills
- Previous barista experience is preferred, with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation.
- Previous boba experience with knowledge and familiarity of Filipino and Asian inspired drinks preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order processing.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours smoothly.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
