Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance activities, ensuring safety compliance, and supervising staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and facility upkeep. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a solid background in facilities maintenance and custodial services. The Site Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our site, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning, maintenance, and custodial activities across the facility.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to perform repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Oversee commercial cleaning operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Train and support staff in proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients to address concerns or operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed for equipment or supplies and manage time effectively to meet operational deadlines.
- Document maintenance activities, safety incidents, and operational reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, custodial services, or commercial cleaning.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic repair techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shift hours.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising teams or staff members.
- Good organizational skills for managing supplies and scheduling tasks.
- Prior experience working with custodial or maintenance staff is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety compliance and quality standards.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
